Assignment Overview
You will create a Canva presentation or infographic that covers the major
events during World War II. Your project should visually and textually capture
the key moments of the war, demonstrating your understanding of their
significance and impact. Use images, text, and design elements to make your
presentation engaging and informative.

- Event
Selection:
- Choose 8-10
major events from World War II to feature in your presentation.
- Possible
events include:
- The invasion
of Poland (1939)
- The Battle of
Britain (1940)
- Pearl Harbor
attack (1941)
- D-Day
(Normandy Invasion, 1944)
- The Battle of
Stalingrad (1942-1943)
- The atomic
bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (1945)
- The end of

- The signing

- Visual Design:

Reflection
Some of the ways that I
can differentiate this assignment is to allow for extra time to complete the
assignment. Some students do have that on their IEPs and it is necessary for
them to have that extra time to work to ensure that they can complete the project
to the best of their ability. I would also reduce the project length. Instead
of making eight to ten slides, I would have them do five to seven slides. For
some students I would have them watch a tutorial on how to use Canva, as well
as written instructions and possibly partner them with a student that is
proficient at using technology. Finally, I would have regular check-ins to make
sure that adequate progress is being made and ask if they have any questions.
